Количество людей, зарегистрированных в центрах по трудоустройству (см. Job centre) в качестве безработных, желающих получить работу. Регистрация необходима для получения пособия по безработице и других социальных льгот. В Великобритании количество зарегистрированных безработных колеблется в пределах 1% от общей численности рабочей силы. Согласно опросам этот показатель как правило ниже количества безработных в стране. См. Unemployment.
